#2CIC A Blog I HAD to Share

Unique Business Cards

Unique business cards are a great way to get the "word" out to your customers. A friend and collaborator of mine, Luses mini moo cards, a wonderful product which you see here.:
"I use Mini Moo cards as my unique business cards. Is a company linked to Flickr. http://uk.moo.com/en/products/
They were European based, but recently set up a USA store. I have my cards, postcards and mini cards printed by them.

Each mini moo card is different and uses my art and photography. There is plenty of room on the back for the free addition of my two shop urls and a 10% discount offer. I think that the mini Moos are better value than the Moo business cards!

When I send a package to a customer, first I take a photo of the package adorned with the business card. The photo is put into several Flickr groups, including one specifically for 'Etsy packaging'. This way, people get to see the business card.

I have, now and then stuck a small piece of sheet magnet on the reverse of the card; makes a good fridge magnet!"

I use Vistaprint.com for my business cards and invitations to shows and have been quite happy with their products. My card reflects the nature of my jewelry and designs which are very much influenced by my Greek background. Blue instead of white for the back gives the card extra pizazz.

#2CIC Beautiful Secret Pal Gifts!

I simply had to share this blog post!

My team mate Patricia (of handmade soapfame) organised a summertime secret pal gift exchange. This is her blog about her gift.

My Summer Secret Pal Gift

Summer Secret Pal Gift by Elektrajewelry
I just received my Secret Pal Summer gift from Dina at elektrajewelry on etsy.

She is a fellow collaborators in cahoots team member and amazing at her jewelry making skills.

The bracelet shown is in lovely iridescent peacock colors...truly my favorite! If I had a choice of colors and design, this would have been it! Understated yet a lovely accessory.

I'm a bracelet freak. I wear bracelets more than any other type of jewelry. For me, bracelets are an extension of your natural movements when you express yourself with your hands. Bracelets become a show-stopper when used this way. They are an active expression piece vs. necklaces, which tend to be more stationary. I think of necklaces as "lovely divas" vs. bracelets which earn their place by active participation as they enhance your natural movement and become an extension of your expressions.

Stop by elektrajewelry for some lovely "extensions" of your own personality and expression.

Beauties of Fall

Wonderful pastels and a beautiful greeting card by my friend and collaborator Lindacaterpillar. She has two shops on etsy which feature her amazing art work.

The weather today was beautiful, tinged with that last-day-of-summer-first-day-of-Autumn feeling.

The trees haven't turned yet but they soon will.

The leaves haven't fallen yet but they soon will.

The glorious colors of Autumn aren't here yet, but they will be, soon. Find this beautiful card in this shop.

This year's pine cones haven't fallen, but they will do, soon.

Have you seen my Linda's two Etsy shops? In one she sells art; pastels, watercolors, acrylics and photographs.

In the other she sells cards made using that art. Come and visit her, revel in color, beauty and unique work that she has there waiting for you!

Today her beautiful pastel of a yellow Autumnal leaf was chosen to be in this Etsy Treasury:
